RNI  Early Programme Schedules -

February 1970

The initial programme schedule was:-

6.00am - 8.00am          German Service

8.00am - 6.00pm          English Service

6.00pm - 8.00pm          German Service

8.00pm - 12 midnight    English Service

By the end of the first week the evening German Service had been extended to 9.00pm and the evening English language programmes until 2.00am. Initially two DJs operated the German Service, Hannibal and Axel, while the English service was presented by Roger Day and Carl Mitchell.

April 1970

The station now transmitted on FM as well as medium wave with  revised programme schedules:-

5.30am - 7.00am         German Service

7.00am - 8.00pm         English Service

8.00pm - 11.00pm       German Service

11.00pm - 2.00am       English Service
