Pop Pirates Game

A board game for offshore radio enthusiasts was launched by Music Radio Promotions in 1978. Called "The Pop Pirates" the game had two objectives for players:-

There were many hazards on the way such as seasickness, transmitter faults, breakdowns, sabotage and shipwreck. In addition players had to battle with rival ships for advertising contracts and audience ratings. The game came complete with board, dice, tokens, pirate money, advertising contracts, audience rating cards, problem cards and all necessary components to equip a pop radio ship.
